Exground filmfest presents once again the highlights of independently produced short and feature films - about 250 productions, among them several premieres.

This year’s host country, Canada, will open the festival with THE NOVENA by BernardÉmond. Correspondingly, the retrospective is dedicated to David Cronenberg: five oeuvres of this master of puristic film language will be shown.

Other highlights are the German premiere of THE THREE BURIALS OF MELQUIADES ESTRADA by Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Altman's A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION as a Preview, TAKESHI'S by Takeshi Kitano as well as TIDELAND by Terry Gillian.

The short film section comprises over 200 productions and The Last Farm is one of them and will be screened the 19.11.2006 at 15.00 in Caligari FilmBühne in a program called DESIRE
